Tenerife Taxi Transfer Booking Terms

Any person confirming a booking with Tenerife Taxi Transfer accepts to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Any person not agreeing with these conditions, should not proceed with a booking. Users of our website must be 18 years old or over.

Tenerife Taxi Transfer with NIE number X-8543356-Y, act as an Official booking and administration agent for suppliers who provide pre-booked in resort transportation between airports and hotels, apartments and holiday accommodation by taxi. Tenerife Taxi Transfer act as an authorised booking and administration agent for Licensed Taxi Companies in Tenerife. In making a booking on our website you are entering into a direct contract with the said Taxi Company. Tenerife Taxi Transfer authorised as a booking agent, therefore only accepts liability for the quality of our clerical and administration service .

In case of group bookings, the person making the booking acts as the principal for other members of the group and agrees to accept the terms and conditions on behalf of the other group members. The number of people travelling will not exceed 4. Infants under 2 years of age still count as one person in a taxi and in accordance with local laws.

Bookings can be made by following the simple instructions on our website up to your flight leaves for Tenerife. A confirmation email is generated and sent to the email address provided when a booking is made. This confirmation voucher must be presented to our representative upon arrival at Tenerife South airport. The confirmation is issued only on the basis that all information provided is accurate and that payment is made in full prior to taxi transfer. Payment is accepted by Tenerife Taxi Transfer on behalf of the supplier.

Tenerife Taxi Transfer cannot be responsible for any incorrect information provided by the user at the time of booking. Any amendments to the booking (flight numbers, name, etc) can be communicated to us on info@tenerifetaxitransfer.com.

Overseas suppliers and their representatives/drivers reserve the right to refuse to carry person's who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who could be considered a threat or danger to other passengers. It is not permitted to smoke or consume alcohol on board any of the vehicles.

Luggage is limited to one suitcase per person and one piece of hand luggage per person. Tenerife Taxi Transfer must be advised of any excess luggage at the time of booking (such as golf clubs, wheelchairs, diving equipment etc). If any extra costs for this are to apply, Tenerife Taxi Transfer will communicate this via email. Extra costs must be paid for prior to travelling. On arrival at destination, local representatives reserve the right to refuse to carry excess baggage without prior arrangements have being made to accommodate this. All baggage must be clearly labelled with travellers name and destination address. Passenger’s baggage is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage. Travellers are therefore advised to check their own travel insurance.

All service providers are fully licensed and insured in accordance with the local laws and national regulations and their vehicles are insured for public liability and passenger/third party claims.

Tenerife Taxi Transfer and its suppliers will endeavour to provide a comfortable reliable service however there are sometimes circumstances beyond our control that may prevent us from achieving this. Such circumstances could be: Accidents, traffic delays, exceptional or severe whether conditions, industrial action on part of third parties, road closures due to local fiestas, bookings made showing incorrect details of dates, flights etc, failure by traveller to produce confirmation voucher on arrival. This list is far from complete.

If you are claiming a refund for any reason it must be done within 3 days of your return date and is to be done by email and you must attach a read receipt. Tenerife Taxi Transfer reserve the right to withhold any refunds until the said claim has been investigated. Tenerife Taxi Transfer reserve the right to deny any refund where we feel it is an invalid claim. No refund claim will exceed the cost of a licensed taxi for the journey in question. Tenerife Taxi Transfer authorised as a booking agent, only accepts liability for the quality of our clerical and administration service and therefore can not be held responsible for any errors made by taxi and transport companies. Credit and debit card bookings are subject to a 2% charge. Tenerife Taxi Transfer reserve the right to alter modes of transportation in the interest of customer care and to provide alternative transport methods. All transport supplied to Tenerife Taxi Transfer are fully licensed and abide by local regulations.
